Stafftrends -
Product Description
A software package designed for HR departments
and consulting firms. Depending on the size
of the company using the system, design takes
into consideration whether it is for a single
user (Stand Alone) or multiple users requiring
a client/server enterprise version. Future development
will produce a Web-based version hosted and
maintained by InfoEweb and accessed by subscribing
“members”.
Close attention has been given to the major
components of StaffTrends:
Capture – StaffTrends
provides several methods for capturing information
important to the development of a comprehensive
Database of both Clients and Consultants from
hard scanning of paper documents, to software
scanning of electronic files. Electronic files
can be imported, parsed, and filed in a searchable
database in one easy step. E-mail attachments
and resumes received through resume distribution
or “Blaster” software programs can
be treated in the same manner. Searches are
facilitated by the use of index information
retrieved automatically in the scanning process.
Information from the documents can automatically
populate these index forms designed to maximize
the effectiveness of the Search engine saving
hours of labor in filing, presenting the user
with instant search capabilities. Scanned images
created from hard copy documents are converted
to ASCII text files and then are capable of
being processed as per electronic input data.
Additionally, whether original input is scanned
or imported, StaffTrends can improve bad images
to facilitate future searches.
Search – Thanks to the
superior performance of the capture programming,
there are many ways to find matches of job and
candidate profiles. Initial capture procedures
can route resumes or job requirements to designated
folders or create Dynamic folders to categorize
documents and recreate a digital filing cabinet
organized per the individual users familiar
work patterns. Text Searches can retrieve broad
ranges of matching documents, while the ability
to search on specific words or phrases. Search
results are returned in order of relevance further
reducing the amount of time formerly required
in pairing potential employers with employees.
Depending on the version of StaffTrends being
utilized, searching can be done on internal
records or can go out over the internet to shared
resume/requirement repositories thus availing
the small user of resources formerly only available
to the larger placement companies.
Distribute - Once found the
resumes or job openings can easily be distributed
electronically to the proper HR person or job
seeker. With an automated workflow built in,
files can be routed to their final destination
for processing by simply placing them in the
proper folder. This type of programming greatly
reduces the amount of handling that goes on
in typical HR departments resulting in fewer
lost files, greater efficiency in filling vacancies,
and an overall increase in productivity. Another
feature in distribution is the ability to automatically
send requirements or job openings to designated
groups of vendors for help in fulfillment. The
StaffTrends database can be configured in groups
defined by their profiles so when requirements
or consultant resumes are being sent, they go
to only relevant addresses, reducing unwanted
e-mails and frustrated clients.
Interface (GUI) – As
with most programs, it is only good if it is
used. The StaffTrends developers have designed
a very user-friendly interface. Account executives
can maneuver around the various portions of
the program very easily and will be able to
track information and relevant data as required.
Automatic reminders and calendars keep users
up to the minute in any deals or projects while
providing their managers the ability to collect
information necessary to the overall operation
of their business. A directory style format
with permission based security, allows access
to all facets of the business from a common
screen.
As with all InfoEweb developed products, StaffTrends
is highly customizable and can be altered to
fit individual needs.
